About Me:: Owner/Guide of Western Spirit Cycling with my wife Ashley Korenblat. We've been owners for the last 10 years and continue to grow & have fun. Most of my best friends I've met through cycling - for better or worse. We live here in Moab full time, w/ our 2 year old son Kip, but we're probably only here about eight or nine months of the year with our travels. My first mtn. bike was a 1984 Rockhopper (when I was in highschool), then I had a 89 Team Stumpjumper in college before moving to Crested in 1991. I remember seeing the original Team Stumpjumper race the Ross 3 day event in Wendell, MA in 86 & still have the poster of them on their pink bikes - so it was pretty funny seeing the team this year @ Sea Otter. Now we're sponsored by Specialized as tour guides and help spread the word on their awesome line of bikes. Even if I was paying full retail, it's the same bike I'd be riding - they're that good!
