Tour de France rest day updates
posted by id* at 05:13 PM on July 16, 2008
This year's Tour de France is turning into the most competitive in years. At the end of the first full week of racing there were still 7 riders within 2 minutes of the overall lead and the top five are all within a minute!
The race has been very exciting and open the whole week. Specialized riders were active all week long and were rewarded with a stage win and yellow jersey thanks to Stefan Schumacher's ITT win on Stage 4.
A great ride on Monday up the Hautacam has Bernhard Kohl sitting in 4th place and looking great for the next week of racing.
We've been getting great video updates all week long so take a look!
