Bike to Work Houston

Friday morning I had the opportunity to ride with the mayor of Houston. ...Ok, ok... I didn't really meet him and he probably doesn't even know I exist - but it was still a cool little ride to do with about 50-60 people.
I got up at the butt crack of dawn (5:45am) and made my way to Memorial Park in downtown Houston. I arrived and coffee and pastries were waiting for me.... mmm. The folks at Bike Barn had invited me to ride with them. They are super cool people!
The ride rolled out at 7:15 or so and we made our way downtown to the city hall building. We arrived at the CH building and hung out for a bit. Did I mention the helicopter following us? Yeah, it was a big deal.
Of course, once we arrived more food and free Monster was waiting... Yeah, I think I had enough caffiene that day.
All in all, it was a sweet little event.
