Targeting the young and impressionable.

As the women's western demo coordinator, it is my duty to get more women on bikes, and I am taking my new postion seriously, no messing around here. I'm putting my life on the back burner to pursue my career in the industry. For me this means no fun, no drinking, no boys, no nothing other than women on bikes. Late night after hours, early mornings, weekends...either slaving over the computer or driving highway after highway, I will seek them out and I will make them ride.
Today I began. I spotted some girls having fun sans bikes and I was upset, I had to get in there. Yeah, they might have been a little young, but what better way to ensure that more women know that there is a bike out there just for them than by targeting them at a young and impressionable age. Okay, maybe I took advantage of their young minds, but they deserve to know, I am only doing them a favor....
SO,...I had a cheer squad wash my Sprinter. They were inquisitive and I couldn't help that. So I told them all about my cool job, my cool bikes and the rest is history! Hopefully, one of those girls will remember the good times she had with her friends and she'll remember being active and healthy; and maybe somewhere down the line she'll remember the women's specific bikes with which she once had a breif encounter.
